A pioneering entrepreneurial spirit, an innate quest for higher learning, and a firm determination to pursue a vision for socio-economic change in the region through education trail blazed the birth of Quezon Center for Research and Studies. In May 2003, the idea of putting up an entrepreneurship-focused business school, conceived and initiated by a seasoned and an enterprising lawyer-rural banker Atty. Leandro P. Garcia received an encouraging response from the Board of Directors of QCRS. The man behind this noble undertaking with uncompromising help from a colleague, had been able to mellow and overcome painstakingly the constrains of time, space, and distance, making way for this magnanimous intention to take shape slowly but surely.
The approval and Permit to operate was granted on January 27, 2004, barely a few months before the institution began its initial school year of Operation in June 2004, Atty. Leandro P. Garcia CPA as the President Atty.Medardo B. Medenilla, MBA, as the College Dean & Vice President for Academic Affairs Ferdinand Z. Garcia, Vice President for Administrative Affairs, Agnes Alcala Fernandez, Registrar, Ma. Michaela P. Garcia, Guidance Counsellor Medardo C. Laureles as the school Administrator the school offers only one course Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with three majors Computer Management, Management and Entrepreneurship. The school took place at the 7th flr Garcia Corporate Tower. Rizal cor. Granja and Rizal streets. QCRS brings itself closer and more accessible when the school moved in to its new four storey building at the corner of Quezon Avenue and Ravanzo streets year 2005, with fifteen students enrolled. Year 2010, the President, with the Board of Trustees applied for the new Majors, Operations Management, Financial Management and Marketing Management and was approved by Commission on Higher Education.
